An Iranian delegation, led by President Masoud Pezeshkian, intends to initiate a new round of negotiations on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) regarding Tehran's nuclear program during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
"I will stay in New York a few days longer than the president, and I will have additional meetings with foreign ministers from other countries. We will try to start a new round of talks on nuclear issues," Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
