Iranian authorities reported a failed attempted attack on a defense ministry facility in Isfahan province, Tasnim reported on Wednesday.
The UAV attempted to strike the facility was shot down by air defense systems.
It is noted that due to the operative work of the air defense systems, no damage was caused.
This was not the first attempt to attack a defense ministry facility using drones. On January 29, IRNA reported that a strong explosion occurred in Isfahan city located in the central part of the country. The Iranian defense ministry later informed that on January 28, there was a failed UAV attack on one of the ministry's centers. One UAV was shot down, the other two hit defensive traps and exploded. There were no casualties as a result of the incident, there was minor material damage.
