Iran views the maintenance and enhancement of its relations with BRICS member countries as a top priority, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis), said during the plenary session of the 10th BRICS Parliamentary Forum.
"Iran and its parliament recognize that the paramount issue for us is to bolster and strengthen our ties with BRICS member countries and to further develop this platform," Ghalibaf emphasized.
He further noted that Iran is eager to collaborate with BRICS members to attain shared objectives, and forums like the BRICS Parliamentary Forum play a crucial role in fostering this cooperation.
"The BRICS Parliamentary Forum is an essential instrument for advancing international relations and shaping the world order into one that is more open, transparent, and conducive to better cooperation among our nations," the Iranian parliament speaker added.
