The meeting between the head of the Interreligious Dialogue Center of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization in Iran Mohammad Mahdi Tashiri and cultural adviser, the head of the cultural representative office at the Iranian Embassy in Russia Kahreman Soleimani was held in the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia (SAMR).
The parties discussed the issues of spiritual security of the person, as well as the prevention of the spread of pseudo-religious extremism and terrorism ideas. The importance of spiritual education of people in this sense was especially emphasized.
It is worth noting that the Iranian delegation arrived in Moscow at the invitation of the Department for External Church Relations of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Interreligious Council of Russia.
