I think that just in these days we will come to an understanding," Jalali said. - "Next week a delegation from the Iranian Deputy Minister of Health is coming to Moscow".
The diplomat noted that the delegation will include representatives of Iranian vaccine companies. "They will also hold their own negotiations. God willing, in the near future we will just start joint [vaccine] production between Iran and Russia," the Ambassador added.
On January 30, Jalali said that Moscow and Tehran have concluded a contract to purchase and jointly produce the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.

Jalali said that the first batch of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Iran in a few hours, with the next deliveries expected within one to two weeks.
"Right now the first batch of Sputnik V vaccine is in the air, being transported by a Mahan Airplane, and in a few hours the plane will land at Imam Khomeini Airport [in Tehran], and the first batch will arrive in Iran," the Ambassador said.
He recalled that Russia and Iran had earlier signed a contract to supply the vaccine. The next consignments "are also expected to be sent to Iran within one or two weeks," Jalali said.
