Vahid Jalalzadeh, the Chairman of the Iranian Majlis (parliament) Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy, has delivered a message from Majlis Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. The message relates to the situation in the Middle East, as reported by a TASS correspondent.
"We will be delighted, my colleagues and I, to personally deliver Mr. Ghalibaf's message to Vyacheslav Volodin. Our aim is to gain insights into his perspective on the ongoing events and subsequently convey Mr. Ghalibaf's viewpoints," the Iranian parliamentarian stated during a meeting with Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma's Foreign Affairs Committee, and Andrei Kartapolov, head of the Defense Committee. "In his letter to Volodin, Mr. Ghalibaf addresses the pressing issues in the Middle East region and calls for the establishment of a global consensus to address the current crimes," Jalalzadeh added.
