Iranian Chief Commander of Law Enforcement Ahmad-Reza Radan and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev discussed Russian experience that could be adopted by the Islamic Republic's police at a meeting in Moscow.

"The conversation focused on the experience gained and the issues of interest to the two countries, on mutual cooperation, which we can and will continue. We discussed the gained experience of Russian capabilities that we can use in our police work," Radan told Russia-24 on Thursday.

The Iranian chief of law enforcement command said it was a very detailed and productive conversation, "permeated by the spirit of mutual cooperation and, of course, friendship."
