Tehran believes that projects such as the "deal of the century" are not able to solve the problems of Palestine, says Iran's Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.
"We believe that such projects cannot solve the problem of the people of Palestine," the diplomat told a press conference in MIA "Russia today". According to him, the proposed "deal" is actually "a kind of fraud" and undermines the rights of Palestinians.
On January 28, American President Donald Trump announced the results of the development of the "deal of the century" - a draft agreement between Palestine and Israel that should end the conflict in the region. The plan, in particular, provides for the creation of the state of Palestine and its demilitarization. At the same time, Israel will have control over the East of the Jordan river, and Jerusalem will remain its indivisible capital.
