Iran's Intelligence Agency Detains 35 Individuals Linked to Kerman Terrorist Attack

Iran's Intelligence Ministry has announced the arrest of 35 individuals suspected of organising a terrorist attack in Kerman on January 3, as reported by the IRNA news agency.

 

According to IRNA, the apprehensions took place in various provinces, including West Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchistan, Tehran, and Khorasan-Rezavi.

 

 

The Intelligence Ministry disclosed that the head of the operation had illegally entered the country through southeastern borders. He managed to leave the Islamic Republic just two days before the actual terrorist incident. Beyond leading the operation, he was also reportedly engaged in the production of improvised explosive devices.
