Iran's Security Council Secretary to Attend St. Petersburg Security Forum

Ali Akbar Ahmadiyan, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, will participate in the XII International Meeting of High Representatives in charge of security issues, scheduled to take place in St. Petersburg. This information was reported by Iran's IRNA news agency.

 

Ahmadiyan will lead the Iranian delegation to the event, on an invitation from Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev. During the forum, Ahmadiyan plans to hold separate meetings with his counterparts from Russia, Brazil, South Africa, China, India, and Iraq.

 

The XII International Meeting of High Representatives is expected to be held in St. Petersburg from April 23 to April 25. The event will feature secretaries of the Security Councils, national security advisers, deputy prime ministers, heads of security and intelligence agencies, and representatives of international organizations. On April 14, First Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Rashid Nurgaliyev, announced that one of the main topics of the upcoming event will be information security in the emerging multipolar world.
