The armed conflict between the Palestinian movement Hamas and Israel is a "war of good against evil," said Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
"This is not a war between Gaza and Israel; it is a war between good and evil, a war between faith and arrogance. Of course, arrogance will use military force, bombings, and commit crimes in this war. But beware, for the power of faith will defeat arrogance with God's help. The final victory will be for the people of Palestine, and very soon," Ali Khamenei expressed, as quoted by IRNA.
Khamenei also dismissed allegations that demonstrations supporting Palestine in Western countries are orchestrated by Iranian intelligence services. "Take a look at what's happening globally: people are taking to the streets, chanting slogans critical of the US and Israel. This clearly indicates a declining reputation for these two nations, and there's no justification for their actions. Can we honestly believe that every one of these protests is orchestrated by members of the Basij (Shiite popular militia - TASS), even in places like London or Paris?" inquired Iran's spiritual leader.
