Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali al-Hakim will visit the Russian capital in April to attend a meeting of the Russian-Iraqi Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Iraqi Ambassador to Russia Abdulrahman Hamid Al-Hussaini told a meeting with the First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Yury Fyodorov.
According to the diplomat, the parties are preparing to sign more than 20 agreements and memoranda of understanding. "These agreements and memoranda will make a leap in our relationship", Al-Hussaini added.
The previous meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission was held on April 23-25 in Baghdad.
