At least one person died and eight others were wounded in an Iranian Armed Forces missile strike on targets in the city of Koy Sanjaq in northern Iraq's Erbil province. All the victims were taken to hospital. This was reported on Monday by the Iraqi news portal Shafaq News, citing Minister of Health of Iraqi Kurdistan Region Saman Barzanji.

According to the newspaper, on Monday morning, the Iranian military, using three drones, struck the headquarters of the Komala party, which Tehran considers a terrorist, in the Iraqi province of Sulaymaniyah (part of the Kurdish autonomy). At the same time, the Iranian military fired three missiles at the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan in Erbil, which is banned in the Islamic Republic.
