Israel damages airport runway when it raids Aleppo

On Tuesday, Israeli air force planes launched missile strikes on Syrian army positions on the outskirts of Aleppo (360 kilometers from Damascus). According to the Syria TV channel, the aggressive attack damaged the runway of Aleppo International Airport.

Its source in the command of the republic's armed forces told that the Syrian air defense forces repelled the enemy's missile attack. "Our anti-aircraft gunners managed to hit several air targets," he specified. - "One Syrian serviceman was killed and seven others, including two civilians, were wounded in repulsing the attack."

 

On March 7, Aleppo International Airport remained closed for more than two weeks after the Israeli aggressive attack. Supplies of humanitarian aid by air to the population affected by the February 6 earthquake were temporarily shifted to Latakia and Damascus.
