Israeli Military Opens Fire on Gaza Queue for Food Aid

26 January

At least 20 people were killed, and approximately 150 others were injured, when the Israeli military fired upon a long line of people waiting for food aid in northern Gaza City, Al Jazeera reported on Friday.

Survivors of the attack sought refuge at al-Shifa hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. The hospital is overwhelmed, with many wounded individuals lying on the floor due to a shortage of beds.

According to Al Jazeera, one of the injured individuals in the hospital recounted, "We were going to bring flour. We were waiting for trucks. [Israeli tanks] fired four shells at us."
