Three Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank due to Israeli shelling. The Palestinian health Ministry reported the incident on Facebook (banned in Russia, owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist in Russia).
The WAFA news agency stated that Israeli army soldiers had opened fire on the vehicle carrying the Palestinians. The area was subsequently blocked off by Israeli security forces on purpose, to prevente ambulances from reaching the scene.
The killing of the three young men in Nablus has been strongly condemned by Nabil Abu Rudeineh, a spokesman for the Palestinian leadership, who described it as a "war crime." He expressed frustration with the international community's perceived powerlessness and the silence of the US administration, which he believes encourages further aggression by the Israeli occupation regime against the Palestinian people. Abu Rudeineh urgently called on Washington to intervene immediately to halt the escalating violence, as he fears it may lead to more instability and tension in the region.
