Israeli Strikes Kill Civilians in Gaza Strip

Civilians have been killed and wounded as a result of artillery shelling and air strikes by Israeli forces on several settlements in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.



The agency reported that an Israeli drone struck civilians in the town of Zawaida in central Gaza, while in the south of the Palestinian enclave, the Israeli air force targeted private homes near the Nuseirat refugee camp and bombed another house in the Khan Younis neighborhood. Military shelling of the Mashrua neighborhood near Rafah in southern Gaza is also reported.



WAFA noted that the ongoing Israeli operation in Gaza since October 2023 has killed 38,584 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and 88,881 have been injured.
