Israel's Military Fires on Palestinians Awaiting Aid in Gaza

04 March

According to the WAFA news agency, citing sources among medical personnel, the Israeli military has once again opened fire on Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid in Gaza. The incident killed  several dozen individuals.

The strike was carried out on March 3 near the Kuwait traffic circle in Gaza City, where people had gathered to wait for trucks delivering flour. The exact number of fatalities and casualties is yet to be confirmed.

This is not the first such incident in the enclave. The most widespread tragedy occurred on February 29, when the Israeli forces' strike on a crowd waiting for the distribution of humanitarian aid in the southwestern part of Gaza City killed 117 Palestinians and injured hundreds. Reports indicate that Israeli helicopters were involved in the attack, opening fire on Palestinians gathered at the intersection.
