Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe intends to visit Iran in June with an intermediary mission to normalize relations between Washington and Tehran.
The Head of the Japanese Government, as the Yomiuri newspaper writes with reference to Government sources, claimed during a meeting with the US President Donald Trump during his state visit to Tokyo.
Abe's visit to Tehran, as the newspaper notes, may take place as early as June 12th-14th.
Shinzo Abe's intention, meanwhile, was seemingly warmly welcomed by Donald Trump.
It is known that during his visit to Japan, Trump also mentioned that both the United States and Iran are ready for negotiations and the subsequent normalization of the situation in the Persian Gulf.
