Jordan authorized the use of Russian vaccine

Jordanian authorities have authorized the use of the  Russian vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V in the kingdom. This was announced Wednesday on its website by the kingdom's Food and Drug Administration.


According to Nazzar Mehidat, head of the administration, "the emergency use of the Russian drug in the kingdom was allowed after a long period of study of the technical documentation submitted by the Russian side." The study, he added, was completed after the department received all the necessary data last night.


According to the statistics, the total number of infected in the kingdom exceeds 448 thousand, the number of deaths reached 5 thousand.
