Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who visited Saudi Arabia as part of a Russian delegation, expressed that Russia's plans to enhance cooperation with the Arab world in economic areas are timely and correct.
"I observed with great satisfaction the warm and friendly conversation between Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the esteemed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Through his statement, Vladimir Vladimirovich has delineated a clear direction, signaling Russia's intent to enhance cooperation with the Arab world across various economic sectors. I consider this decision to be both correct and timely," he conveyed in his Telegram channel.
According to Kadyrov, Mohammed bin Salman assured that Saudi Arabia will continue to explore all opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia.
"I am delighted that, amid the ongoing global changes, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands as a steadfast friend of Russia. The adept foreign policy led by the Russian president and the decisions he has made have not only allowed us to maintain but also significantly enhance our friendships with countries in the Middle East," Kadyrov expressed.
Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian leader, mentioned that Putin and the Saudi crown prince extensively discussed matters of mutual interest, going into great detail as they "compared their positions" on various issues between the two countries.
