Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec State Corporation) will offer the latest Lebedev pistol to Middle Eastern customers, Sergei Urzhumtsev, deputy Director-General - chief designer of Kalashnikov Concern JSC, told TASS in an interview.
"We are currently making more detailed presentations of the products to individual customers. In particular, we will negotiate with a number of Middle Eastern customers," said Urzhumtsev.
According to him, the first public demonstration of the Lebedev pistol was held at the international arms exhibition IDEX 2021, which took place in the UAE. "The interest of foreign partners in this pistol was considerable," Urzhumtsev added.
The Lebedev pistol is the latest sample of compact small arms developed by Kalashnikov.
