The guarantor countries of the Astana process on Syria (Russia, Iran, and Turkey) have not yet approached Kazakhstan to hold the next round of talks, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi told reporters on Tuesday.
"The guarantor countries have not yet contacted us," he said, responding to a related question by TASS.
The previous, 17th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format was held on December 21-22 in the Kazakh capital.
