Kazakhstan PM expects to hold talks with Mishustin on the sidelines of the EIC

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov will take part in the forthcoming meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) in Kyrgyzstan, separate negotiations with the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin are planned. This was reported on Thursday by the press service of the Kazakh cabinet of ministers.


"Alikhan Smailov will take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which will be held on August 25-26 in the city of Cholpon-Ata of the Kyrgyz Republic. Bilateral negotiations of the prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the heads of governments of Kyrgyzstan and Russia are also planned within the working visit," reads the report.


The meeting of the EIC in Cholpon-Ata will be the 32nd since the start of the Eurasian Economic Union and the third this year. Traditionally, during the event, the heads of governments of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will discuss urgent tasks to deepen integration in the union.
