Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) since Friday suspended trades in three types of international bonds of the Ministry of finance of Ukraine, the press service of KASE informs.

"Kazakhstan stock exchange notifies that from February 25, 2022, KASE suspended trading in the following international bonds of the Ministry of finance of Ukraine: XS1902171757 (sector "government securities", UA_01_2811); XS1303921214 (sector "government securities", UA_03_2209); XS1303921487 (sector "government securities", UA_04_2309)",  the message says.

According to the exchange, trading in these bonds has been suspended on the basis of information posted on the site of the National commission on securities and stock market of Ukraine, according to which it was decided to temporarily suspend since February 24 allocation, turnover and redemption of all securities, and operations in the depository records and clearing accounting systems of persons engaged in clearing activities. An exception was made for operations necessary for the National bank of Ukraine to carry out monetary policy and the ministry of finance of public debt service operations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address on Thursday morning that in response to an appeal by the leaders of the Donbas republics, he decided to conduct a special military operation. The Russian leader stressed that Moscow's plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories.

The Russian ministry of defense reported that the Russian military is not striking Ukrainian cities, and military infrastructure is being taken out of action with high-precision weapons. Civilians are not threatened, the ministry assured.
