Kazakhstan to issue collectible coins in honor of 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Russia

The National Bank of Kazakhstan from April 3 will release collectible coins from the series "Outstanding events and people" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations with Russia, which was celebrated in 2022. The press-service of the financial regulator informed about it on Friday.


Coins "Kazakhstan - Russia: 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations" are made of melchior alloy (MN 25). Weight of one coin of 100 tenges is 15 grams, diameter - 33 mm, quality - proof-like. Circulation will amount to 3 thousand pcs. The coins depict the coats of arms of the two countries and the date "1992-2022."


Diplomatic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan were established on October 22, 1992.


Within the series "Outstanding events and people" coins dedicated to the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and China, the 30th anniversary of the initiative to convene the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, as well as the 30th anniversary of joining the United Nations will also be put into circulation.
