Chairman of the Majilis (lower house) of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov has arrived in Russia on an official visit. It includes planned visits to Moscow and Kazan, as reported by the press service of the lower house of the republic.
"Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov arrived on an official visit to the Russian Federation. Within the framework of the visit on March 4-5, it is planned to visit the cities of Moscow and Kazan. In Moscow, there will be bilateral meetings with Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin and Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko," the message stated.
In Kazan, Koshanov is scheduled to meet with Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Farid Mukhametshin, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. The discussions will focus on developing interparliamentary cooperation, as well as issues of interregional economic, cultural, and educational cooperation.
