Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov has invited his counterparts from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to participate in a specially designed training program aimed at combating corruption. This program, developed by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office University, is focused on enhancing qualifications in anti-corruption efforts.
Krasnov announced that the university had already received a request from Kazakhstan's Anti-Corruption Agency, and the necessary quotas have been allocated to accommodate their participation. Speaking at the 9th meeting of the CIS Interstate Council on Combating Corruption (ICCC), Krasnov encouraged his colleagues from other CIS countries to take advantage of this opportunity. He also emphasized that during Russia's chairmanship of the ICCC, lists of educational institutions offering systematic anti-corruption training and professional development courses have been compiled.
Krasnov noted that expert-led lectures had already been delivered in Dushanbe as part of these efforts. Additionally, he highlighted that international experiences in countering the use of digital currencies for corrupt activities had been gathered and published in the departmental magazine Zakonnost (Legality), and he proposed continuing the exchange of such expertise regularly.
The Interstate Council on Combating Corruption was established in 2013 and includes representatives from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
