Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a traditional big press conference in December this year, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Yes, the press conference will be held in December," he said, in particular, in response to the question of whether the event would take place in December, as usual.
It will be the 15th press conference since 2001. The longest press conference was in 2008. It lasted 4 hours 40 minutes. Since 2004, each such communication between the President of Russia and journalists lasts at least three hours.
Earlier, the Kremlin repeatedly drew attention to the fact that such a format of communication between the head of state and journalists is unprecedented in the world.
"There are few heads of the state in the world who arrange such sessions of communication with journalists. But we think it is necessary from the point of view of full informing of mass media and, with their help - all society about a current situation and about the results of the year. The absence of any directing is evident here, " Peskov said.
