Kremlin commented on allegations of interference with elections in Indonesia

Russia does not interfere in the internal affairs of other states, especially in electoral processes. About this, commenting on the statements of the CEC of Indonesia about hacker attacks on their systems, which allegedly come from Russia, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

 

«We have repeatedly stated that Russia has not been engaged, is not engaged and has no intention to interfere in any internal affairs of other states, especially in electoral processes. We do not like to do it with us, and we never do it ourselves,» said, in particular, the press secretary of the head of the Russian state.

 

Recall of the numerous attacks on the systems of the Central Election Commission of Indonesia on the eve of the April presidential and parlamentary elections, citing the head of the Indonesian CEC, the agency Bloomberg reported earlier today. Hacker attacks are allegedly made from the territory of Russia and China.
