The Kremlin believes it is crucial to implement the agreements on Nagorno-Karabakh, so that the parties to the conflict would then completely renounce hostilities and move on to diplomatic means of settlement.

"We highly appreciate the understanding that was agreed upon, the decision on humanitarian pause that was reached as a result of contacts [of the Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Armenia]," Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday. He stressed that Moscow is now "watching the situation very closely, the Kremlin is seeing reports from both sides about violations of [the ceasefire].

"We believe that the implementation of the agreements reached is extremely important in order to fully withdraw from hostilities and move to political and diplomatic means of conflict settlement in the future," the Kremlin representative stressed.
