Kremlin: the date of the new Astana summit on Syria has not yet been determined

There is no specific date for the Astana Troika summit on Syria yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.


"No, there is no specific date yet. Diplomats are communicating, " he said, in particular.


The next summit with the participation of the presidents Russia, Iran and Turkey-Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan - was planned to be held in the Islamic Republic in March, but due to the situation with the coronavirus, the event had to be postponed indefinitely.


Earlier it was reported that the summit of the leaders of the Astana Troika may be held as a video conference.
