In the Arab world, Russia’s position on a number of issues of relevance to the region, including the Golan Heights, is highly appreciated. The Chairman of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait Marzouq Ali Mohammed Al-Ghanim has declared it, speaking today at a meeting of the Council of the Federation.
“For 70 years, the Palestinian people have been suffered. And today I want to say that we believe in a progressive position on the part of the Russian Federation in support of the Palestinian cause, as well as other problems, in the Security Council and on other UN sites. We always highly value Russia's position in protecting Arab interests and, above all, the Palestinian problem”, the mass-media quotes politician, in particular.
In addition, according to al-Ghanim, Kuwait is expecting on Russia's support in the fight against world terrorism.
