"The meeting was held in a warm, friendly format. Once again, despite the difficulties that exist in Syria related to the post mortem system, Asma al-Assad confirmed her intention to continue providing assistance and help to the repatriation of Russian citizens. We have outlined further plans for cooperation",  Kuznetsova said.

In addition, in the framework of the visit, the Ombudsman met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the SAR, Faisal Mikdad, who stressed that the work built by the Russian side on the evacuation of children from Syria, including from camps located on the territory temporarily out of the control of the official authorities of the republic, is in many ways an example for other states.
