The Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan announced its intention to close air borders for all countries except Russia. This issue will be considered at the next meeting of the Republican headquarters for preventing the spread of coronavirus infection.
"We will leave only flights from Russia to Kyrgyzstan," the transport Ministry said.
In particular, there will be two flights from Moscow to Bishkek and Osh, as well as a flight from Novosibirsk to Bishkek.
The day before, the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported that three cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the country. All of them returned from Saudi Arabia after performing the Umrah.
