Erlis Terdikbayev, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan, has arrived in Belarus to take part in the concluding phase of military exercises involving units from member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). This information was conveyed by the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense.
"Major General Erlis Terdikbaev, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, has arrived in the Republic of Belarus to participate in the active phase of the joint operational-strategic exercise titled 'Combat Brotherhood - 2023'," the press service stated.
Terdikbayev, along with Belarusian General Staff Chief Viktor Gulevich, visited the headquarters and the base camp where military units are stationed. During his visit to the camp, the Kyrgyz General Staff chief met with the personnel of the Kyrgyz military contingent participating in the exercises. He received briefings on various aspects, including daily life and logistical support, joint activities, and offered his best wishes for their success in achieving excellent results during the joint maneuvers.
