The Russian language serves as a connecting thread among the nations of the CIS countries, the head of the Kyrgyzstan Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov said during a meeting with the heads of state news agencies from CIS countries in Bishkek.
"Historically, Russian has become the language that unites our space, where we understand each other, as they say, with half a word," he remarked.
He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan places significant emphasis on preserving the Russian language. "This language is enshrined as an official language in the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan. Recently, Presidents Sadyr Zhaparov and Vladimir Putin initiated the construction of nine modern schools in all regions of our republic. This will likely be the largest educational project implemented in Kyrgyzstan since its independence," the head of government explained.
He believes that these new educational institutions will serve as models of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, "fostering educated youth and nurturing the intellectual foundation of the nation."
"It is now crucial and necessary to strengthen and develop the Commonwealth, as we will never have other neighbors, and all of us, our peoples need a stable and peaceful future, confidence in the future," the prime minister emphasized.
