Kyrgyzstan Calls on Israel and US to Halt Genocide in Gaza

18 March

Kyrgyzstan has appealed to Israel and the United States to cease the genocide occurring in the Gaza Strip. Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz government, made this statement in Bishkek.

"Kyrgyzstan urges the international community, particularly the primary supporter of Israel, the United States of America, to put an end to this madness and genocide," stated Baisalov.

He highlighted the ongoing systematic destruction of the Gaza population, which "has been witnessed by the world for nearly six months."

"13,000 children, 165 UN employees, and 95 journalists have been killed, most of them deliberately. All of these atrocities are documented! In 2024, we are witnessing genocide live on television," Baisalov noted.

Baisalov expressed shock at the sight of two million Palestinians enduring hunger while the world remains unable to intervene.

"Kyrgyzstan condemns terrorism. In October, we denounced the attack on Israeli civilians. While we acknowledge the right of the Israeli people to self-defense, the Israeli government has no authority to exempt itself from international law and the UN," emphasized the deputy head of the Kyrgyz government.
