Lavrov and Fidan Discuss Middle East, North Africa, and Black Sea Region

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engaged in discussions on the situation in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Black Sea region during the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

 

"During the conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Fidan touched upon key aspects of the international agenda, including the state of affairs in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Black Sea region," the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

 

The ministers synchronized their views on topical issues of the Russian-Turkish political dialog and trade and economic cooperation. This indicates a collaborative approach to addressing regional challenges and enhancing bilateral relations.

 

This meeting marks the latest in a series of diplomatic exchanges between Lavrov and Fidan. Their last encounter was on the sidelines of the G20 ministerial meeting in Rio de Janeiro.
