Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is heading the Russian delegation at the Group of 20 (G20) summit on the Indonesian island of Bali, arrived at the venue of the meeting on Tuesday. He was met by Indonesian President Joko Widodo. They shook hands.
The meeting will be held at the Apurva Kempinski Hotel. Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov also arrived at the venue of the meeting.
The first session is devoted to food and energy security. In addition, participants of the summit will discuss health issues in the afternoon. The theme of the final, third session, which will be held on November 16, will be the digital transformation.
On Monday, allegations of Lavrov's hospitalization in Bali appeared in the Western media. The Russian foreign minister denied the rumors and advised reporters to "be more honest."
