Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov described his discussions with US officials as highly productive, emphasizing that both sides have begun to truly listen to each other.
“I believe the conversation was very useful. We were not just listening but actually hearing each other,” Lavrov stated following the negotiations.
He added, “I have reason to believe that the American side now has a better understanding of our position, which we once again outlined in detail, using specific examples, based on multiple statements by President [Vladimir] Putin.”
