Special attention was paid to cooperation in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus infection, including supplies of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to Algeria," the statement reads.

The Ministers also discussed the situation in Western Sahara and Libya.

"During the exchange of views on the situation in Western Sahara, the principled position in favor of resolving this long-standing conflict on a universally recognized international legal basis was confirmed. The Ministers expressed their support for the coordinated efforts of the world community to promote inter-Libyan dialogue with the participation of all influential political forces in the country on the basis of the provisions of UNSCR 2510," the statement said.
