NATO is not going to assist or participate in the new provocations of Kiev in the Kerch Strait area. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has announced his opinion about it in an interview for the TV channel “Zvezda”.
“I don’t see such a situation, and taking into account the information we own, I have reason to believe that NATO has already decided everything for itself,” the Head of Russian Diplomacy noted, in particular.
It is known that on November 25th, 2018, three vessels of the Ukrainian Navy crossed the Russian border in the Kerch Strait area. Violators were arrested and during the interrogations confessed that the incident was provoked.
However, after that situation happened in the Kerch Strait, several Russians were imposed the sanctions by the European Union.
