Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting on Monday with Mohammed Raad, leader of the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah. The Russian diplomatic office told TASS.
"We confirm the fact of the meeting," the agency's interlocutor said in response to a related question.
Raad's previous working trip to Moscow took place in October 2011 during the first official visit of Hezbollah members to Russia. Then the delegation of the faction held meetings in the State Duma, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Religious Board of Muslims of Russia.
