Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud during his visit to Riyadh, as reported by the Russian diplomatic department.
Lavrov arrived in the Saudi capital on September 8 to participate in a meeting of the strategic dialogue between Russia and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf (GCC).
Prior to his meeting with the Crown Prince, Lavrov held talks with several counterparts, including Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. He also met with Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
