Moscow warns Ankara and other capitals against supporting Kiev's militarist sentiments, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Monday.

"All responsible countries with which we communicate, Turkey being one of them, we strongly recommend analyzing the situation, the Kiev regime's perpetual bellicose statements and warning them against supporting militarist sentiments," Lavrov said following talks with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.

Thus, in the light of the recent visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy to Turkey on April 10 against the background of the discussions about the purchase of weapons by Ukraine, the minister commented on the question of whether Russia was concerned about the arms sales to Kiev.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said after talks with Zelenskyy that cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine in the defense industry was not directed against third countries.

Earlier, the press service of the leading Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar told RIA Novosti that Ukraine had already purchased Turkish Bayraktar strike drones.
