Lavrov: Russia and Bangladesh have warm and friendly relations

Russia and Bangladesh have warm and friendly relations, which are rooted in the period when Bangladesh only gained its independence.

 

 

 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has announced at the meeting of the Foreign Minister of the South Asian state Abulkalam Abdul Momen.

 

 


Welcoming his colleague, Lavrov, pointed out that Russia was among the first to recognize the independence of Bangladesh.

 

 

 

“We have an extensive system of relations between the leaderships of our countries, various ministries and departments, parliaments and, of course, the Foreign Ministry”, the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia claimed.

 

 


According to Lavrov, the main task of today's negotiations, is the elaboration of additional steps to promote the entire complex of relations between the two states in terms of bilateral relations and cooperation in the international arena.
