A meeting of heads of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is scheduled for June-July, with schedules being worked out at the moment. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this on Friday following a meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).
"The summit is planned for June-July, the schedules of the heads of state are being finalized now," he said. - "We know that they will adopt a comprehensive set of documents, first of all, a political declaration and a number of statements, including those on deradicalization, digital transformation, healthcare and others."
Lavrov noted that the members of the organization have a common vision of the problems that persist now on the world stage. "There is a common desire to coordinate our actions both in the UN and on the Eurasian continent with such structures as the EEU, ASEAN, and in a more global sense to cooperate with the BRICS countries," the minister said.
