Russia will help Palestine in training diplomatic and law enforcement personnel. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this on Wednesday at a press conference following talks with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki.
"We agreed to continue training Palestinian personnel at the expense of the federal budget through the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. We are also assisting in the training of Palestinian law enforcement officers," he said.
"We also talked about assisting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Palestine in training personnel and taking special courses on various aspects of diplomatic activity. We will provide such assistance in the very near future," the minister added.
