Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is set to participate in the international forum on peace and security, Sir Bani Yas, in Abu Dhabi on December 8-9. "On December 8-9, the Russian foreign minister will participate in the 14th Sir Bani Yas International Forum on Peace and Security n Abu Dhabi," - announced the diplomat. - "Subsequently, on December 10, he (Lavrov - TASS) is slated to address the 21st Doha Forum in Qatar," the statement noted.
Zakharova highlighted that the Sir Bani Yas and the Doha Forum are esteemed dialogue platforms where discussions on pertinent international issues take place. These forums engage leading politicians, analysts, and representatives from the expert community across a diverse array of countries, including those from the global South and East.
"In his addresses, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will outline Russia's perspective on global development trends and talk about our country's vision for a new, equitable, and democratic world order, free from neocolonial influence. The minister will also give special attention to the issue of Palestinian-Israeli settlement and security concerns in the Middle East," informed Zakharova.
